- त्वमक्षरं परमं वेदितव्यं
- त्वमस्य विश्वस्य परं निधानम् ।
- त्वमव्ययः शाश्वतधर्मगोप्ता
- सनातनस्त्वं पुरुषो मतो मे ॥१८॥
- tvam akṣaraṁ paramaṁ veditavyaṁ
- tvam asya viśvasya paraṁ nidhānam
- tvam avyayaḥ śāśvata-dharma-goptā
- sanātanas tvaṁ puruṣo mato me
tvamYou — You; akṣaramthe infallible — the infallible; paramamsupreme — supreme; veditavyamto be understood — to be understood; tvamYou — You; asyaof this — of this; viśvasyauniverse — universe; paramsupreme — supreme; nidhānambasis — basis; tvamYou — You; avyayaḥinexhaustible — inexhaustible; śāśvatamaintainer of the eternal religion-dharmamaintainer of the eternal religion-goptāmaintainer of the eternal religion — maintainer of the eternal religion; sanātanaḥeternal — eternal; tvamYou — You; puruṣaḥthe Supreme Personality — the Supreme Personality; mataḥthis is my opinion methis is my opinion — this is my opinion.
You are the supreme primal objective. You are the ultimate resting place of all this universe. You are inexhaustible, and You are the oldest. You are the maintainer of the eternal religion, the Personality of Godhead. This is my opinion.
