- dharmārtha-kāma-mokṣāṇāṁ
- nimittāny avirodhataḥ
- vārtāyā daṇḍa-nīteś ca
- śrutasya ca vidhiṁ pṛthak
dharmareligiosity — religiosity; arthaeconomic development — economic development; kāmasense gratification — sense gratification; mokṣāṇāmsalvation — salvation; nimittānicauses — causes; avirodhataḥwithout being contradictory — without being contradictory; vārtāyāḥon the principles of the means of livelihood — on the principles of the means of livelihood; daṇḍaof law and order-nīteḥof law and order — of law and order; caalso — also; śrutasyaof the codes of scriptures — of the codes of scriptures; caalso — also; vidhimregulations — regulations; pṛthakdifferent — different.
