- antaḥ śarīra ākāśāt
- puruṣasya viceṣṭataḥ
- ojaḥ saho balaṁ jajñe
- tataḥ prāṇo mahān asuḥ
antaḥwithin the body śarīrewithin the body — within the body; ākāśātfrom the sky — from the sky; puruṣasyaof Mahā-Viṣṇu — of Mahā-Viṣṇu; viceṣṭataḥwhile so trying, or willing — while so trying, or willing; ojaḥthe energy of the senses — the energy of the senses; sahaḥmental force — mental force; balambodily strength — bodily strength; jajñegenerated — generated; tataḥthereafter — thereafter; prāṇaḥthe living force — the living force; mahānthe fountainhead of everyone's life asuḥthe fountainhead of everyone's life — the fountainhead of everyone's life.
From the sky situated within the transcendental body of the manifesting Mahā-Viṣṇu, sense energy, mental force and bodily strength are all generated, as well as the sum total of the fountainhead of the total living force.
