- सञ्जय उवाच
- एवमुक्त्वा ततो राजन्महायोगेश्वरो हरिः ।
- दर्शयामास पार्थाय परमं रूपमैश्वरम् ॥९॥
- sañjaya uvāca
- evam uktvā tato rājan
- mahā-yogeśvaro hariḥ
- darśayām āsa pārthāya
- paramaṁ rūpam aiśvaram
sañjayaḥSañjaya said uvācaSañjaya said — Sañjaya said; evamthus — thus; uktvāsaying — saying; tataḥthereafter — thereafter; rājanO King — O King; mahāthe most powerful mystic-yogathe most powerful mystic-īśvaraḥthe most powerful mystic — the most powerful mystic; hariḥthe Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa — the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa; darśayāmshowed āsashowed — showed; pārthāyaunto Arjuna — unto Arjuna; paramamthe divine — the divine; rūpamuniversal form aiśvaramuniversal form — universal form.
Sañjaya said: O King, having spoken thus, the Supreme Lord of all mystic power, the Personality of Godhead, displayed His universal form to Arjuna.
